CONNECTED AGAIN

You can love each other and still get stuck.

A Virtual Relationship Workshop for Couples

The same disagreement. The same shutdown. The same pursuit. The same distance.

Connected Again helps couples slow the pattern down, understand what happens between them when connection feels threatened, and practice new ways of finding each other again.

This is a structured, experiential relationship workshop grounded in relationship science and informed by attachment and nervous-system principles.

Who Connected Again Is For

Connected Again may be a good fit for couples who:

  • care about their relationship but repeatedly get caught in the same conflicts
  • feel increasingly distant or disconnected
  • struggle with defensiveness, withdrawal, escalation, or shutdown
  • want to strengthen friendship and emotional connection
  • want practical ways to navigate conflict differently
  • want to understand how stress and nervous-system responses affect their relationship
  • want to become more intentional about the relationship they are building together

WHAT WE'LL WORK ON

1. Understand the Pattern

Learn to recognize the cycle that takes over when connection feels threatened.

Couples privately map:

Trigger → Nervous-System Response → Protective Response → Partner Response → What Happens Next

2. Find Each Other Again

Explore friendship, curiosity, appreciation, bids for connection, turning toward, and the small interactions that strengthen relationships over time.

3. Conflict Without Losing Connection

Practice recognizing flooding, slowing escalation, beginning difficult conversations differently, taking effective breaks, accepting influence, and making meaningful repairs.

The framework we will practice together:

Pause
Notice
Regulate
Reconnect
Respond

4. Build Your Relationship Plan

Each couple leaves the workshop with a practical two-week experiment that includes:

  • a daily connection ritual
  • a weekly relationship check-in
  • a plan for recognizing and responding to flooding
  • preferred repair strategies
  • one relationship pattern they want to interrupt
  • one intentional change they will practice together

What the Workshop Feels Like

Couples will not be expected to disclose their most private relationship experiences to the entire group.

Teaching occurs together, while many exercises and conversations happen privately between partners.

The emphasis is on learning, experiencing, practicing, and taking usable tools home.

Two Nervous Systems, Not Just Two Communication Skills

Relationships involve two nervous systems, not simply two sets of communication skills. When connection feels threatened, your body can react before you have had a chance to think.

Connected Again integrates relationship education with attachment and nervous-system awareness to help couples notice what happens internally before automatic protective responses take over. Understanding this layer gives you more choice in the moments that matter most.

Schedule

Dates being finalized

Connected Again includes a 3-hour workshop followed by a 1-hour integration session. Join the interest list to be notified when dates are confirmed.

The initial workshop focuses on understanding patterns, strengthening connection, practicing conflict and repair skills, and developing a two-week relationship experiment.

Couples return for the integration session after practicing the material in real life. The integration focuses on what worked, where old patterns returned, troubleshooting barriers, strengthening repair, reinforcing regulation and connection, and creating a 30-day relationship plan.
