Individual & Couples Therapy

Tell me what keeps happening.

You don’t need to figure out what kind of therapy you need before you get here.

Tell me what’s happening, what keeps repeating, and what you want to be different. I’ll look closely, tell you what I recommend and why, and you decide what you want to do next.

Individual

If you're coming for yourself.

Maybe you already understand the pattern and still can’t get out of it. Maybe you have no idea why your body, thoughts, relationships, or reactions keep doing what they do. Either is enough to start.

Sometimes I recommend ongoing therapy. Sometimes I recommend more concentrated time in an intensive. Sometimes I think another service or another provider makes more sense. We figure that out after I understand what we’re actually working with.

If we continue with ongoing therapy, we’ll decide together what pace makes sense.

Couples

If you're coming as a couple.

You can both understand the argument and still keep ending up back in it. Maybe it’s the same fight, the same shutdown, the same distance, or something that changed trust, sex, intimacy, or how safe it feels to reach for each other.

I work with couples in ongoing therapy and in intensives. You don’t have to choose between them before we meet. First I want to understand what keeps happening between you and what you’re trying to change.

Coming with more than one partner or as an adult family?
