Virtual Holiday Grief Group for Parents and Caregivers
A Place for Their Name
A Holiday Grief Group for Parents and Caregivers After the Death of a Baby or Child
Virtual • Separate Texas and Oregon cohorts • 3-hour gathering + 1-hour integration • Maximum 10 participants
The holidays can make a child's absence feel present in ways that are difficult to explain.
There may be traditions you cannot imagine continuing, gatherings you are already dreading, or people who seem afraid to say your child's name.
A Place for Their Name offers room to remember, to be witnessed, and to prepare for the season without having to make your grief smaller or more comfortable for anyone else.
You don't have to perform your grief here. You're invited to bring it.

- $350 per participant
This Oregon offering is not currently scheduled. Join the interest list to be notified when future dates are announced.
Both meetings are part of one connected group experience. Participants should plan to attend the experiential gathering and integration meeting.
Because psychotherapy takes place in the state where a participant is physically located, participants must attend from the state attached to their selected cohort.
A few hours to be with what the holidays stir up.
This is an experiential gathering, not a support group where everyone takes turns narrating their loss. You won't be asked to tell the story of how your child died, or to measure your grief against anyone else's.
Together we'll use grounding, reflection, and quiet experiential practice to make room for the child you're missing, and for what their absence does to you in a season that asks people to be joyful.
A one-hour integration meeting follows the gathering, so what you open up has somewhere to land.
Who this is for
- A parent or caregiver carrying the loss of a baby or child whose absence feels louder during the holidays
- Someone who doesn't want to recount the details of a death to be allowed to grieve
- A person who can use a structured, held space and doesn't need intensive individual care right now
You can grieve your child here without performing it for the room.
What's included
The $350 investment includes:
- One three-hour experiential gathering
- One one-hour integration meeting
- A private digital remembrance companion
- Preparation information
A required consultation is $40. If you enroll, the $40 is applied toward the $350 total, leaving $310 remaining.
YOUR PARTICIPANT MATERIALS
A Place for Their Name: A Remembrance Companion
Your investment includes a private remembrance companion created for this holiday grief experience. It offers gentle, optional space for memory, reflection, ritual, grounding, and preparing for the ways grief may show up during the season.
There is no correct way to use it. You may write, draw, make a list, leave pages blank, or simply keep it as a place to return to when you want to feel connected to your child.
This resource is here to support your experience, not to measure your progress. Nothing is submitted, graded, or required to be shared with the group.
Format & logistics
Virtual, with separate cohorts for participants located in Texas and in Oregon. The Texas cohort is available only to participants who are physically located in Texas during the gathering, and the Oregon cohort only to participants physically located in Oregon.
Each cohort is a small closed group of 6 to 10 participants. The gathering is three hours, followed by a one-hour integration meeting. Maximum 10 participants.
This offering is currently open by interest list.
Full fee details are on our Fees & Policies page.
Privacy in the group
I'm bound by professional confidentiality and its legal exceptions. Participants are expected to respect one another's privacy. I can't guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality, so please make thoughtful choices about what you share. Detailed disclosure about your child or how they died is not required.
