Therapy Intensives
Intensive Payment, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Therapy intensives require significant advance scheduling and preparation, and your selected dates are reserved specifically for you. This policy applies to both Individual Therapy Intensives and Couples Therapy Intensives and is the primary source of truth for the public-facing payment, cancellation, and rescheduling terms for intensives.
Payment
For intensives booked 30 or more days in advance, a 50% initial payment is due when your intensive dates are reserved. The remaining 50% is due 7 days before your first intensive session.
Intensives booked fewer than 30 days in advance require payment in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations
Because intensive appointments reserve extended blocks of clinical time that can be difficult to refill on short notice, the following cancellation policy applies:
30 or more days before the intensive
Payments made toward the intensive are refundable. If clinical services have already been provided, including a Preparation session, completed services remain payable.
15 to 29 days before the intensive
The client is responsible for 50% of the total intensive fee.
14 days or fewer before the intensive
The client is responsible for 100% of the total intensive fee.
No-show
The full intensive fee is due.
Rescheduling
With at least 14 days’ notice, the client may reschedule the intensive one time without an additional rescheduling fee.
The new intensive must occur within 90 days of the original booking and is subject to availability.
Requests to reschedule with fewer than 14 days’ notice are subject to the applicable cancellation policy above.
Exceptions may be considered in extraordinary circumstances at the practice’s discretion.
Preparation & Integration Sessions
Individual Preparation and Integration appointments remain subject to the practice’s standard 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.
The 14-day intensive cancellation rule does not apply to an individual Preparation or Integration appointment.
Clinical Appropriateness
Therapy intensives are clinical services, and proceeding with an intensive depends on clinical appropriateness, readiness, and safety.
If Sasha Flores determines that an intensive should be postponed, modified, or not proceed for clinical reasons, the client cancellation penalty does not apply.
Fees for clinical services already provided remain payable. Payments attributable to services that will not be provided will be handled according to the applicable refund terms.
Multi-Day Intensives
A multi-day intensive is reserved as one treatment package rather than as separate daily appointments.
If a client voluntarily discontinues after the intensive has begun, the unused portion does not automatically qualify for a prorated refund.
Clinical circumstances requiring modification or discontinuation will be addressed individually.
Couples Therapy Intensives
For Couples Therapy Intensives, the intensive is reserved for the couple as a single clinical service.
Cancellation, withdrawal, or failure to participate by either partner may result in cancellation of the couple’s intensive and application of the applicable cancellation policy.
